Once upon a time, the Moon discovered the Earth.

The Moon was guided into Earth’s orbit by
an invisible force. The Moon was mesmerized by the stormy
blue seas and light grey skies, captivated by the rich brown soil and dark
green trees. The Moon sought adventure. The Moon wanted to explore every curve
and every edge. The Moon voyaged across the seas first. The tides rose and fell, blindly
following the Moon. Creatures and plants followed suit, basking in the moonlight. The Moon
hadn’t come from here. The Moon was a conqueror, an outsider. The Moon had taken control.
The Earth despised the Moon. The Moon captured the oceans and the nights. For eons, the Earth
never spared a glance, but the Moon was ravenous and soon, the Earth stood up to the Moon.
The Moon was white, shadowed with greys and yellows. Sometimes the Moon even shined
pink, red, and orange. The Earth watched the Moon wax and wane until the Moon eventually
disappeared. The Earth now understood that the Moon had never meant to steal the Earth’s seas.
The Moon couldn’t control its phases. The Moon was not there to abuse the power. The Moon
was there to admire the Earth in all of Earth’s glory. A force had lured them together since
The beginning of time. It was an invisible string and with every eon it tightened.
It was an energy only few experienced in their lifetimes. The Moon
and Earth were bound by the everlasting force of gravity.
